Hisaronu

Hisaronu is located at the foot of the Babadag mountain, between Fethiye and Olu Deniz. Over the last few years this area has become one of the most sought after regions to own a property and Hisaronu is a very popular choice for holiday makers.

Hisaronu sits at the very fringe of a forest that sweeps majestically across the hillside to Fethiye. The nearby Greek ghost town of Kaya Koy presents an opportunity to delve into an extraordinary chapter of local history, whilst around Kaya village the country lanes are sprinkled with traditional Turkish farming communities and tiny villages with simple, rustic restaurants.

Hisaronu is an ideal base and location for walkers as there are plenty of winding paths through the forests with wonderful views of the Babadag mountain and green valley's.

Hisaronu itself bustles with the happy atmosphere of a popular holiday resort; the cooler temperature in Hisaronu welcomes you back from a hard day at the beach and offers a well earned rest before your evening’s entertainment. Hisaronu is a recently established resort and although it has grown in the last few years it still retains its friendly vibrant feel with a terrific selection of family bars and eateries and has plenty to offer and caters for all age groups.

During the holiday season the main street in Hisaronu becomes a pedestrian area in the evening allowing you to stroll along safely taking in all the sights of the town.

Hisaronu and the Fethiye area in general are blessed with a rugged and beautiful landscape, the potential of which for holiday activites is just being realised.

Hisaronu is special because its location means that you can paraglide in Oludeniz one day, canoe down the Xanthos river to Patara the next, paintball in the pine forests of Kaya Koyu and still take an overnight trip to the classical ruins of Ephesus.

The area is nice if you just want to relax on the beach or by the pool but to get the most out of your trip you ought to consider moving around a little bit.

There are plenty of activities and attractions in the Hisaronu area including the 5 & 12 island boat day trips, Horse Riding, Quad Biking, White Water Rafting, Gulet Cruises, Jeep Safaris, Paragliding, various water sports, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Fishing, aqua park, paint balling and much more.

I would also recommend visiting one of the local barbers for a shave and a massage; all for only a couple of pound, you will feel so relaxed and fantastic afterwards trust me!

This is suitable for both males and females.
